These terms cover the Popup Dictionary browser extension and the website at this address. By installing the extension or buying a plan, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
Popup Dictionary is a browser extension. You select text on a page and it shows you a translation, a dictionary entry and the pronunciation. It is a reading aid. It is not a professional translation service, and its output should not be relied on where a mistranslation would cause harm — legal, medical, financial or safety-critical text included.
It is built and operated by one individual, Epitchi, contactable at thienvanlea1@gmail.com. There is no company and no support desk; email reaches the person who wrote the code.

There is no free trial, because the free plan does not expire. Use it for as long as you want before deciding whether the paid features are worth anything to you.
Payments are handled by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Creem is the seller for the transaction and is responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax or VAT. Creem's own terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown in US dollars; tax, where it applies, is added at checkout.
Your licence is tied to the email address you pay with. Use the address you want it on. If you paid with the wrong one, email me and I will move it — do not buy twice.
A licence is for one person. Do not publish or share it.
There are no refunds. The free plan exists precisely so that you can evaluate the extension fully before paying anything, and it never expires. If the product does not do what this site says it does, email me and I will fix it or sort it out with you personally.
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal Creem provides; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. The lifetime plan is a single payment and does not renew.
Prices may go up as features are added. If you are already subscribed, your price does not change for as long as that subscription stays active.
The AI actions cost real money per request, so the monthly cap in section 3 is the limit and it is enforced by the server. Do not attempt to work around it, resell access, or drive the service automatically. Access can be suspended for doing so.
The free translation and dictionary features are served by third parties (Google Translate and dictionaryapi.dev). They are used without a contract and they can change, rate-limit or stop at any time. If that happens, the affected feature stops working until it is replaced. The paid AI features run on a third-party model provider and are subject to the same reality.
The extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. To the maximum extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim relating to the product is limited to the amount you actually paid for it in the twelve months before the claim — which, on the free plan, is nothing.
Nothing here removes any right you have under consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.
There is no account, no analytics and no tracking. What is sent where, and what stays on your own device, is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the extension. I can suspend a licence that is being used in breach of section 8, or refuse service where the law requires it.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the new version. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be emailed to the address the licence is on.
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, where the operator is based. Payment transactions are additionally subject to the terms of Creem as merchant of record.
